Size
Midi beds are typically lower than high-sleepers, and have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore ideal for small rooms. They also take a standard UK single mattress and include a variety of useful components underneath. From a smart desk that slides out into an open cupboard that is ready for totes, to stylish drawer storage with smooth no-wobble operation.
Our midi cabin beds are available in a range of colors so you can pick the one that will best suit your child's bedroom. Some even include a variety of bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units with wheels. There are also four storage drawers, and two cupboards that have doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level with doors that are matched to your foot and head boards.
The Luna low-line loft bed or the midi-storage bed is small and comes with everything you need. A ladder that is able to be rotated and a desk with wheels that slide in and out and three drawer cabinets and chest are all included. It can also be built in reverse for example with the ladder on the right hand side, please ask in store or add this request to the checkout.

It's worth noting that most Midi loft beds with desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds take standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk has a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models feature the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleepovers, or to add more storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or equipped with doors (please look at the product's details for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This gives children a customized space for all their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone one step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect to store toys and books.
